One magical ancient relic, one power hungry warlord, 100 trained assassins – the short film ‘Just Three Girls’ will be filmed around the streets of downtown Tauranga this weekend (15-17 July). The film is a great opportunity for BOP Film to showcase local talent and highlight Tauranga city and what a beautiful place it is. Director Anton Steel says “I wanted to make something fun and entertaining that didn’t take itself too seriously, so there’ll be plenty of action, some funny one-liners and some brilliant stunts”.

Want to be an extra? We need people to be part of a crowd of assassins/thugs for shots we’re filming on the Saturday morning (16 July). If you’re keen please email Tanya tanya@bopfilm.nz for more details.

The edited short film will screen on Saturday 23 July (just a week after filming), before the free screening of ‘Rio’ at the end of the winter carnival. For more information on the screening and other carnival events check out the Downtown Tauranga website.
